Kiss

Does "The Kiss" represent lasting and solid love? The work consists of a mixture of cement and alabaster powder.

The block, once dried, is cut live. Cement symbolizes the foundations of love which rest on a rock.

 

It has two sides. On one of them, the man takes the woman in his arms. On the other, it is the woman who welcomes the man. Who marries the other? Who protects the other? Who embodies strength? Abandonment?

 

Everyone is free to interpret it. For my part, I see a mutual protection, an unfailing love. Nothing can separate this man and this woman in this shared kiss. "
